Mitsubishi Triton MN (2009-2014)
BUYER BEWARE - customer service shocking
Bought new triton 2013 - 40,000 ks on the clock. Over heating with numerous breakdowns took us ages to get results finally we got a new motor. Fast forward to 2018 same problem with 2nd motor. Had to basically fight for assistance had fair trading involved they replaced with a short motor but could not tell us why we were having problems . Not confident with this as we has almost been killed several times as the car would only overheat on freeways after several hours and would loose power so travelling 110 km would drop down to 40 km stranded on side of highways with B double trucks screaming past you is something you don't forget. After breaking down 12 times in total we asked for a refund or a new vehicle Mitsubishi claimed that we had aftermarket items on the car and said that they would not deal with us. DIRTY TRICKS.........
What type of company would leave us like that we purchased a new car and in less than 5 years had 3 motors. We gave up after 7 months of fighting. We have lost so much money as it was a work vehicle we mentally can not fight any more. Yes they won. I sincerely warn any potential buyer not to buy Mitsubishi !
